IRENE SINAYSKAYA

MANAGING PARTNER

Irene Sinayskaya is one of the Managing Partners at Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. Irene’s practice area primarily focuses on strategic case management of commercial litigation and corporate matters. She has practiced extensively on commercial employment class-action defense, complex litigation matters, regulatory matters, and international investment and disputes. Irene also serves as general counsel to companies with over 1000 employees on a number of regulatory and compliance due diligence matters; she supports and guides clients in obtaining licensure, complying with state and federal employment laws, developing strong and efficient corporate structure and governance, and various other legal business matters.

Irene obtained her Bachelor of Finance at Pace University before graduating from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law School with a Juris Doctor. Irene is bilingual in English and Russian.

STEVEN YUNIVER

MANAGING PARTNER

Steven R. Yuniver is one of the Managing Partners of Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. Steven’s practice area focuses on commercial litigation and business transactions including mergers and acquisitions. Steven has extensive experience in representing companies dealing with regulatory standards, audits, and employment practices. In addition to assisting clients in litigation and compliance matters, Steven ensures that clients uphold worldwide standards for professionals in their industry which define, implement, and support efficient processes that encourage consistency across all our commercial and corporate clients.

Steven regularly appears in State and Federal courts on a wide range of issues. He also has extensive cross-border experience, including representing domestic and international companies in their business needs.

Steven manages a team of professionals working primarily with high-volume clients in a variety of industries, including commercial development, information technology, consulting, and health care. This gives him a unique perspective on strategic problem solving and implementation of policies to ensure efficient business practices.

Steven speaks English, Russian, German, and Spanish.

MARC GERVERS

SUPERVISING ATTORNEY

Marc M. Gervers is a senior associate and the supervising attorney for the Commercial Litigation and Business Transactions groups at Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. His practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and dispute resolution where he represents a wide array of companies dealing with regulatory standards, audits, labor and employment practices, class action defenses, as well as partnership, business and contract disputes. Marc assists clients through all stages of litigation and arbitration matters, representing clients in both state and federal courts. Marc also advises clients on a broad range of transactional and compliance matters and develops tailored and creative solutions to promote strategic and sustained long-term growth for their businesses.

Prior to joining Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C., Marc worked at an employment law firm in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Marc obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History at McGill University in Canada before graduating from the Syracuse University College of Law with a Juris Doctor.

Marc speaks English, French, Hungarian, German, and Italian.

In his free time, Marc is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing and watching hockey and soccer, traveling, and cooking.

BRIAN GRINBERG

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Brian Grinberg is an associate in the Real Estate Group at Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. Brian’s practice focuses on commercial real estate and real estate litigation, zoning and land use issues, landlord-tenant disputes, title and boundary disputes, and commercial lease drafting. Over the course of his five years with our firm, Brian has obtained extensive experience in advising and assisting clients on matters relating to the negotiation and preparation of development and construction agreements, the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, land use entitlements, and drafting office, retail, and industrial leases.

Brian obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Hunter College in New York City before graduating from New York Law School with a Juris Doctor.

Brian is bilingual in English and Russian.

In his free time, Brian enjoys watching football and basketball as well as reading.

ANDREW PADOVER

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Andrew Padover is an associate for the Commercial Litigation group at Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. His practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and dispute resolution where he represents a wide array of companies dealing with regulatory standards, audits, labor and employment practices, class action defenses, as well as partnership, business and contract disputes. Andrew assists clients through all stages of litigation and arbitration matters, representing clients in state court.

Prior to joining Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C., Andrew worked in insurance defense throughout New York State.

Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Florida before graduating from Rutgers Law School with a Juris Doctor.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys watching the Knicks and Jets, playing guitar and third-wave coffee.

KATHERINE VASKEVICH

PARALEGAL

Katherine Vaskevich joined Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. as a Paralegal in 2018. She assists the managing partners and associate attorneys through every step of the litigation process, with a particular focus on commercial litigation and employment law.

Katherine graduated summa cum laude as a Dean’s Scholar from the City University of New York at Baruch College in June 2019. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public and International Affairs. At her graduation, Katherine was awarded the Marxe School of International and Public Affair’s Honorary Degree. In the summer of 2018, Katherine studied placemaking and urban space design at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Katherine has extensive experience within government and non-profit agencies. In addition to interning at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Senate, and the Kings County Court System, Katherine has helped in non-profits such as the International Rescue Committee and Changing the Present.

Katherine is bilingual in English and Russian, and strives to fulfill her passion of helping those in need with her growing legal expertise. To that end, Katherine is preparing to attend law school in the fall of 2020.

SARAH LEVY

PARALEGAL

Sarah Levy joined Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. as a Paralegal in 2019. She assists the firm’s attorneys with complex legal research and drafting throughout the entire litigation process, with a focus in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Political Science and Public Health at Rutgers University. Following graduation, Sarah began her legal studies at Hofstra Law, where she is currently a third-year law student and is on the executive board of three student organizations.

Before joining Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C., Sarah gained experience in a firm specializing in matrimonial law. Sarah plans to sit for the New York and New Jersey Bar in July 2020. She is a certified mediator and a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and is an active member of both the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations.

In her free time Sarah enjoys baking, traveling, and supporting the New Jersey Devils.

ARTHUR KAMSAN

PARALEGAL

Arthur Kamsan joined Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C. as a Paralegal in 2018. He assists the firm’s attorneys with complex legal research and drafting throughout the entire litigation process, with a focus in commercial litigation and immigration law.

Arthur entered the legal field in 2017 as a legal intern. Since then he has become prolific with all manner of immigration issues, trademarking, and obtaining all necessary licenses for newly opened businesses.

Arthur’s passion for the law has led him to eagerly strive to become the first attorney in his family. Arthur is currently enrolled in the Zicklin School of Business and is working towards a major in Finance. Once he graduates he is eager to complete law school and join the rapidly growing number of attorneys at Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C.

Arthur is fluent in both English and Russian.

LAUREN MCGOLDRICK

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Lauren McGoldrick is a commercial litigation and real estate Paralegal. Before joining Sinayskaya Yuniver, P.C., Lauren’s experience in the field of law began in 2013 as a receptionist and legal assistant at an Estate Planning law firm. In addition to her paralegal work, Lauren is responsible for administrative office duties, and billing. In her interactions with clients, Lauren ensures that every client is comfortable, and well informed, while they navigate stressful legal situations.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications from the College of Staten Island.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking and listening to live music. Lauren and her husband, Timothy reside in Brooklyn, NY with their two sons.
